OK I admit ever since I first heard of Fresh's new Cannabis Rose I have been intrigued. I have been working with two of our companies on a dupe of both the Cannabis Rose and the Cannabis Santal. I have one right now which smells like a "Green" Rose to me. Not sure just what I have been expecting but I'm not sure this is the one. Doesn't make it any easier that we are in the sticks and I am unable to smell "the real deal", no Sephora anywhere near me. So anyway I do have more dupe samples in the works and am hoping to find an AFFORDABLE dupe of each of these. We will not be carrying it if we cannot stay near our current price range for dupes. My companies are really good helping us stay in our range so I have high hopes (no pun intended there. LOL). So if you are as intrigued as me with the Cannabis Collection stayed tuned and I will post back as I get any new info. I am so excited to hopefully be offering both of these in the near future.

Spoke to my new perfumer this morning and they begin the dupes for me tomorrow. They assure me that we will have an affordable dupe of both "Rose" & "Santal" in no time at all. Cross your fingers on our testing. I'm excited about these two!!! Any of you guys & gals have any great names for these two?? I couldn't sleep last night and came up with what I thought was a great name for Santal, then I must have dozed off and now I can't remember it. AHHH Old Age is wonderful.

Never smelled cannabis santal, but I'm SUPER excited about cannabis rose! Very Happy

Have you had an update yet?

As far as names, I think "Leaf of Romance" sounds nice for the cannabis rose. Wink

OK, both the Cannabis Rose Type and Cannabis Santal Type have been ordered and are expected to arrive in 10-14 days. Both tested well in CP soap & parasoy candles. No discoloration in either in CP, both remained a pretty ivory color. The rose is a lovely light rose scent with a touch of "green" in the mix. Dead on dupe to the original perfume sample I obtained. I can't wait to put some in perfume roll ons and lotions. The Santal is a manly mix and a very good dupe of the original cologne also. we can't wait to add these two to our affordably priced premium line.

I'm excited too. I hope they are well received. We did our best to get a good replication but still keep the price under control. The Rose is a very subtle FO which I am finding is sometimes the case in the expensive dupes. Like the Amazingly Graceful-it's dead on but it is not going to blow the doors off with an overpowering scent. I really like it. The Santal is a little less subtle-I hesitate to describe it till I get my official description but I think I smell patchouli & sandalwood and something a bit sweet in there. Very interesting scent.

Renaming Cannabis Rose? Hmmm....

When renaming scents, can you do things backwards and get away with it? Like call it Roses and Cannabis? lol Green Roses and Cannabis? Smile

Cannabis Rose= Rosy Cannabis/Rosebud Cannabis
Cannabis Santal= Sandy Cannabis

Ok, running back to my corner now! Enough of the silly stuff. Smile

If I have anymore silly ideas, I'll let you know! lol

omg, I didn't know there were so many words for cannabis! lol I just went look out of curiosity. heheheeee
Another word for Cannabis is Carmabis (any ideas?)

Green Rose Goddess; Emerald Goddess; Jaded Roses; Jade and Roses

Green Dragon; Emerald Dragon; Jaded Dragon

The Cannabis scents have arrived early!! I'll start promoting them in the newsletter late next week as I will be out of town for a few days. Can't wait for some feedback from you all.
