Well can you believe that Backwoods Fragrance & Supply is now two years old? To celebrate we are bringing back our most popular sale of 1.00 off all one pound bottles of fragrance with all other sizes priced accordingly. All of our fragrances are included in the sale and we are debuting our eight brand new scents in this sale as well. If you bought smaller sizes last time now is the time to order that larger size as well as try out some new scents.

Cranberries & Spice

This blend of spiced fruit creates a festive mood with year round appeal. Delicate orange highlights a classic cranberry note at the top of this scent. Warm, spicy middle tones of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger intertwine for traditional appeal. Rich vanilla and warm woods round out this blend. Worked very well in all our testing, a nice mellow scent in a parasoy candle that filled the large room with a wonderfully spicy berry scent and wafted out into the hallway. CP soaped with out problems, no acceleration, does discolor to a rich, medium brown tone. Scent holding well after several months of cure. FP 160. Fall Harvest

his cornucopia of autumn delights is sure to engage the senses. Sweet oranges and festive berries form a fruity accord that balances with a rich cinnamon heart. Brown sugar and warm buttery tones combine to provide a hint of caramel that finishes the blend. This fragrance worked so exceptionally well in CP soap & parasoy candle testing. The soap is a lovely light brown with the most heavenly spice smell. Has been curing several months and the scent is really strong. Lovely strong throw in candles, smells like you have been baking something delightfully yummy
all day long. FP>200.

Peach Grove & Citrus Blossom

Celebrate the season with this lively orchard blend of fruit and foliage. A hint of lemon leaf balances with a fresh citrus topnote of lemon peel and grapefruit zest. Velvety peach tones bloom at the heart of the fragrance while creamy base notes of vanilla sweeten the fruit mélange. This is absolutely a very outstanding fragrance in both candles and soap and I loved this fragrance right away, so summery and sweet!! A very juicy FO!! Smells so clean and fresh in CP and stays a lovely ivory color, no acceleration. Very peachy in a parasoy candle. FP 155. UPS shipping only on this FO due to low FP.

Spiced Wassail

Wassail! Wassail! All over the town, Our toast it is white and our ale it is brown. Back in feudal times, peasants would go "a-wassailing" (also known as caroling) door to door in hopes of aquiring goodies and this spicy sipper. The word "wassail" comes from the Anglo-Saxon phrase "waes hael" meaning good health. So, "wassailing" means drinking to your good health. The original drink was made out of mulled ale, curdled cream, roasted apples, eggs, cloves, ginger, nutmeg and sugar. It was traditionally served from huge bowls on New Years Eve and Twelfth Night, but many wealthy people had Wassail on all 12 days of Christmas! Fresh fruit and rich spices are perfectly balanced in this festive holiday blend. Sweet orange, black cherry, harvest grape and rich sugar plum engage the senses. Warm tones of cinnamon, clove and a hint of ginger enrich the fruit accord with traditional appeal. A background of soft woods and sweet vanilla surrounds the scent. Tested very well in both our parasoy candle blend and our CP soap recipe. I LOVED this one from the get go. Makes an earthy, spiced CP soap with a hint of a fruity undertone. Just a very different fall scent with that woodsy, earthy scent to it. The soap does discolor to a rich, dark brown. Would be lovely with a two color blind swirl.

Sugar Plum Fairy

Invitingly warm notes of a sweet vanilla boquet provide the opening for this holiday fragrance. Coconut milk and raspberry schnapps intermingle with the sweetness to enhance the experience and create dimension. A background of warm musk rounds out the blend. This fragrance made a very nice CP soap that just smells like what I imagine a Sugar Plum would smell like. It has a lightly sweet fragrance that has held very well after several months of cure. No acceleration but does discolor to a rich brown. I sniff it and think "Visions of Sugar Plums Dance in Their Heads"!! Worked very well in parasoy candle tests also. FP>200.

Tin Roof Sundae

Be instantly transported to the ice cream parlor with this guiltless decadent treat. Hot fudge is swirled with creamy, buttery caramel in the deliciously warm opening of the fragrance. Notes of coffee liquor are laced throughout, while a hint of roasted peanuts completes the signature dessert. This made absolutely the best candle we have ever smelled, will positively have your mouth watering. In our CP soap recipe the sweet chocolate and a peanutty essence really came through. Does discolor a fudgey brown in CP, would be a great scent for a blind swirl. FP > 200.

Lime Vanilla

This intriguing combination of citrus and spice elevates the senses. A fresh squeezed lime juice note unfolds to reveal a heart of rich spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and a hint of black pepper form the warm center of the scent. A background of vanilla syrup and sweet copaiba balsam completes the blend. This is another one I loved right away. Smells so nice in CP soap, the lime really comes through. Fresh, clean scent, no acceleration, discolors to a light brown tone. Light, fruity, summery scent in parasoy candles. This one would be great in lotions and roll on perfumes. FP 152. UPS shipping only on this fragrance due to low flashpoint.

Pina Colada

This enticing tropical fragrance opens with the scent of fresh, juicy sliced pineapple. Creamy, sweet coconut gently unfolds as the warm, mellow heart while a sultry note of island rum adds a dramatic flourish to the finish. Mike has been after a Pina Colada for some time now and we finally found it. He just loved this one in his parasoy candles. He said Amy can't wait to get this one in. Everytime I sniff my soap I smell something different in this one, one time the coconut the next time the pineapple and the scent has stayed true after the cure.
